So, first of all, my team for the Million Miles Run has amassed more than a hundred miles in less than ten days. I'm pretty impressed with them! :)
Second of all...
I don't think this whole tying the key to my shoelace is working out very well. Often, I have to run on campus and I usually tie my car key and tuck it under the laces. However, since my key is so bulky it digs on my foot through the tongue. It makes running VERY uncomfortable. Today I actually had an awkward foot cramp for most of my run (about three miles) and it was relieved only after I took off the key. That's why I've been seriously looking at SPIbelts. They're basically running fanny packs!

Third of all... let's discuss something personal that every person who exercises (and doesn't) suffers from.
Chafing.
That's right. I brought it up. People chafe. It's a given. I've been fortunate, though, because I only chafe on my thighs and not anywhere else. I know people who chafe on their underarms, behind the knees, and in more awkward places. I've been using Aquaphor to avoid chafing, but might switch to Vaseline since it's cheaper (the Aquaphor is pretty old anyway). I've read that Aquaphor can actually help reduce chafing when it occurs!
The one thing I need to remember is that less is more. I kind of went crazy applying Aquaphor tonight, and my legs ended up lathered white and the grease had actually soaked through my compression shorts and my regular shorts, creating a very awkward stain. I looked like I had wet myself.
Gorgeous, right?
In other news, four days until Ringo gets here!!
